AP SET Online Form 2021: Apply Online for Lecturers/ Assistant Professor Vacancy: Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET 2021) notification conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. AP SET Examination 2021 – Eligibility Criteria

According to the official notification  of APSET 2021 Examination eligibility and Educational Qualification required is given below:

• At least 55% marks (Without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission). The Backward Classes (BC) or SC (Scheduled Caste) or  ST (Schedule Tribe) or Transgender or persons with disability (PWD) category candidates should have at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Examination.
• Candidates who are pursuing their master’s the degree / equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited / candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this examination(APSET).
• Candidates belonging to the transgender category would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age, and qualifying criteria for APSET as are available to SC/ST/PWD categories.
• The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examinations have been completed by 19.09.1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (50%) for appearing in SET.
• Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Post Graduation only. The candidates whose Post Graduation (PG) subject is not covered in the list of SET subjects may appear in a related subject.
• There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for the examination. 

Medium Of Question Papers:

• The Question Paper-I is Common For All Candidates Appearing APSET will be Bilingual (English and Telegu)
• The Question Paper-II for the following subjects – a) Commerce b) Economics c) Education, d) History, e) Political Science, f) Public Administration, and g) Sociology will be bilingual. All the remaining Papers are in English only Except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telegu, and Urdu.

Examination Schedule:

As per the official notification of Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET), the exam Schedule & marks distributions are given below.

• There is no negative marking.
• The Candidate Will Have To Mark The Responses For Questions Of Paper-I and Paper-II On The Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet Provided Along With The Test Booklet.

• For General and EWS Category: Rs. 1200/-
• For B.C. Category: Rs. 1000/-
• SC / ST / PWD / Transgender : Rs. 700/-
• Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
