APSC Eligibility Criteria
The Assam Public Service Commission considers the educational qualifications and age limit of candidates to determine their eligibility for Lecturer in Diet under the School Education Department. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and enter accurate details regarding their age and qualifications in the application form to avoid cancelation.
The candidate must be an lndian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of lndia and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.

2 (two) years Diploma (recognized by the Director General of Employment & Training) in a technical trade with 55% marks or equivalent grade
iv. NET/SLET/Ph.D. from any recognized University.
Desirable:
i. At least 3 years of working experience as a full-time teacher of Craft/Work Experience/SUPW/ Vocational subject in a Bal Bhavan/School/TEl/lTl, etc.
ii. Sound practical knowledge and skill in at least one CRAFT/SUPW area taught in Elementary/Secondary School
iii. Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purpose
(7) LECTURER, EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (ET)
Number of Posts: 8 (Eight) posts
Essential Qualificatlon:
A.
i. Maste/s Degree in Humanities/ Social Science/Science/lnformation Technology with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University.
ii. M.Ed. with 55% marks or equivalent grade with a paper in Educational Technology/AV Education.
OR
B.Ed. degree with ET/AV Education as one of the papers with 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University and successful completion of a training course on ET/AV Education of not less than 6 weeks duration from Govt. recognized institution NET/SLET/Ph. D. from any recognized University.
OR
Maste/s Degree in Humanities/Social Science/Science/lnformation Technology with 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University, Degree in Communication/Mass Communication/CommercialArUFilms & TV Programme/ Engineering with 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University NET/SLET/Ph,D. from any recognized University. Desirable:
i. At least 3 years experience of teaching in a school preferably in Elementary/Secondary School/TEl
ii. At least 2 years experience in development of educational aids in a TEI/ET Cell/SEB// AHSEC/ SCERT/SRC, etc,
iii. At least 2 years experience in development production/training in use of AV programmes/ Educational aids for children/Mass Education.
Age Limit
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e, upto 43 years,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e, upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated based on the Class-X/Class-Xll Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth (DOB) is reflected. No other document shall be accepted for age proof instead of the above mentioned documents.
Pay Scale
Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).

Application Fee
Under the Digital lndia initiative by Ministry of Electronics and information Technology (MeitY), the Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs.40.00/- + 18% tax = Rs.47.20/- from each candidate.
