Engineer Trainee in (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical)
Qualifications: Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology or Five-year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree program in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical or Electrical or Civil or Chemical Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
Upper Age Limit (years) (as on 01/04/2019):
- 27 years old (candidates born before 01/04/1992 are not eligible to apply)
- 29 years for candidates with two-year full-time graduate studies in Engineering or Business Administration / Management
Executive Trainee in (HR)
Qualifications: Full-time regular Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian University* with at least 60% marks in aggregate in all years Two years full-time regular Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management and Industrial Relations/ Social Work/ Business Administration with a specialization in Personnel Management or Labour Welfare or HRM from a recognized Indian University/ Institute with minimum 55% marks in aggregate of all years/semesters.

Executive Trainee in (Finance)
Qualifications: A full-time regular Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian university with qualified CPAs or cost and business accountants from recognized institutions in India.

Salary / Pay Scale:
Candidates who will join BHEL as Engineers / Executive Trainees will undergo training for one year. During the training period, basic pay of Rs 50,000/- in the scale of pay of Rs 50,000-1,60,000/- will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers/Executives in the scale of pay of Rs 60,000-1,80,000/- with basic pay of Rs 60,000/-. After including all other allowances, the approximate CTC is Rs 12.0 Lakhs per annum for ETs.
Selection Process:
a) Candidates interested in joining BHEL as Engineer/Executive Trainee will have to appear for a Computer Based on Examination. Based on the exam scores and requirements, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview with a merit ranking in the ratio of 1: 7 to the number of vacancies in each specialty and category.
B) The final merit list must be prepared on the basis of 75% weight for the exam score and 25% weight for the interview stage.
