Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the Government of India Owned Military Research and Development Organisation. It is the largest and most diverse research organisation in India. The organization includes around 5,000 scientists and about 25,000 other scientific, technical, and supporting personnel. Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL) is a Defence Laboratory of DRDO engaged in developing materials and alloys for Naval use. It is also a single-window agency for all materials requirements of the Indian Navy.

Applications are invited by DRDO NMRL for the recruitment of fresh Engineers Recruitment for JRF Posts 2019. Complete details and eligibility criteria for Recruitment of JRF Posts 2019 are given below:

Organization Name: Defence Research and Development Organisation – Naval Materials Research Laboratory (DRDO – NMRL)

• Mechanical Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in First Division with Valid NET / GATE Score OR M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Relevant Branch in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate Level

• Electronics / Electrical Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering First Division with Valid NET / GATE Score OR M.E / M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Relevant Branch in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate Level

• Chemical Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering in First Division with Valid NET / GATE Score OR M.E / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Relevant Branch in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate Level

Age Limit: As per the official notification, candidates Maximum age limit is 28 years which are relaxable for Reserved Category Candidates as per government of India rules. 

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Walk-In-Interview to be held in NMRL as per the details as given below:
