| Stipendiary Trainee (Maintainer) | SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade (Electrician/Fitter/Instrumentation/Electronics/ Machinist/Turner/Welder). For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course. Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination. |
Physical Standards (Height & Weight)
- Minimum height: 160 Cms.
- Minimum Weight: 45.5 Kgs.
- Note: The above Physical Standard is relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit.
Pay Level & Approximate Monthly Emoluments
- During 1st year of training stipend of ₹20,000/- Per Month.
- During 2nd year of training stipend of ₹ 22,000/- Per Month.
- Book allowance (one time grant) – ₹ 3000/-
After successful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician/B (Group-C) in the pay of ₹ 21,700/- in level 3 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. Additional increment/s, as per extant rules, depending upon the performance during training program may also be granted.

Application Fee
Only male candidates belonging to General, EWS, OBC categories are required to make a non-refundable payment of ₹ 100/- towards application fee with the applicable bank charges. The application fee can be paid on any day between 22/08/2024 (10:00 Hrs. onwards) to 11/09/2024 (till 16:00 Hrs.) only.
SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-serviceman, DODPKIA, Female candidates and employees of NPCIL are
exempted from the payment of Application Fee.
Candidates are required to make application fee payment through debit card/credit card/net-banking/UPI etc. online through payment gateway integrated with the application form.
