RRB JE Syllabus 2019 – Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released Railway JE 2019 Notification for the recruitment of 13487 Vacancies. The 1st stage Computer Based Test CBT on 22nd May 2019. The exam is conducted to select candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer IT (JE IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in Indian Railways. RRB JE 2019 Syllabus for First Stage CBT
The Computer Based Test of RRB JE 2019 is conducted in two stages and will consist of multiple choice questions. RRB JE 2019 CBT 1st stage will have 100 questions and 150 questions will be asked in 2nd stage CBT. There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer in both the stages of CBT.
RRB JE 2019 1st stage CBT will have the following four sections:
a) General Intelligence and Reasoning :
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jum-bling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions, etc.
b) General Awareness :
Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity, and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments, etc.
c) Mathematics :
Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
d) General Science :
Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus).
RRB JE Syllabus 2019 for 2nd Stage CBT

RRB JE 2019 2nd stage CBT will have the following sections:

b) Physics and Chemistry :

The architecture of Computers; input and Output devices; Storage devices, Networking, Operating System like Windows, Unix, Linux; MS Office; Various data representation; Internet and Email; Websites & Web Browsers; Computer Virus.
d) Basics of Environment and Pollution Control:
Basics of Environment; Adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies; Air, water and Noise pollution, their effect and control; Waste Management, Global warming; Acid rain; Ozone depletion.
