Age Limit:

Age Limit for the UPSC Various Post Recruitment 2021 is given below.

Assistant Director (Plant Pathology)	Maximum Age: 35 Years (FOR GENERAL CATEGORY) Up to 5 years Relaxation as per instruction or order issued by Government for Regularly Appointed Central Govt. / UT Govt. Servant.
Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation)	Maximum Age: 33 Years (FOR OBC CATEGORY) Age limit is also relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Govt. / UT Govt. Servant up to 5 years.
Assistant Geologist (Geology)	Maximum Age: 30 Years (FOR GENERAL CATEGORY) Maximum Age: 30 Years (FOR ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION) Maximum Age: 33 Years (FOR OTHER BACKWARD CLASS) (Maximum Age: 35 Years (FOR SCHEDULE CASTE & SCHEDULE TRIBE CATEGORY) Age limit is also relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Govt. / UT Govt. Servant up to 5 years.

Educational Qualification:

As per the official notification, Educational Qualification for the UPSC Various Post Recruitment 2021 is given below.

Assistant Director (Plant Pathology)

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. in Agriculture with Specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized university.
Qualifications are relaxable at the direction of the UPSC in the case of the candidates otherwise well-qualified.
Three years of practical experience required in the field of study of domestic and or foreign plant diseases related to plant viruses and plant bacteria.

Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation)

Electronic Engineering degree/ Instrumentation Technology from a recognized university or institute.
2 years experience in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment, etc. from any private (listed) or government organizations.
Qualifications are relaxable at the direction of the UPSC in the case of the candidates otherwise well-qualified.

Assistant Geologist

Post Graduation in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geo-Exploration/ Mineral Exploration/ Engineering Geology/ Geo-chemistry/ Marine Geology/ Earth Science & Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Coastal Geology)/ Environmental Geology/ Geo-Informatics from a Recognized University or Institution.

Qualifications are relaxable at the direction of the UPSC in the case of the candidates otherwise well-qualified.
