The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) will organise the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21 January 2024. Candidates will get their CTET Admit Card 2024 two days before the exam.

CBSE board is organising this examination to check the suitability of candidates for various teacher vacancies all over the country. The candidates must pass the Computer Based Test to become eligible to apply for various teaching jobs.

The CBSE has accepted online applications from the candidates for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test from 03 November to 23 November 2023. However, it was extended to 01 December 2023. Now, candidates are waiting for their turn to appear in the written examination and prove their suitability for various teacher vacancies.
CTET Paper Pattern
- The examination will be conducted for a total of 150 marks.
- There will be 150 questions in the test.
- Aspirants will be given 02 hours and 30 minutes to solve the question paper.
- Online examination will be conducted for CTET 2023.
- There will be no negative markings in the test.
- Candidates will get a 01 mark for each correct answer.

CTET Qualifying Marks & Certificate Validity
The candidates must score at least 60% on the Computer Based Test to pass the CTET Examination. Candidates need to score at least 90 marks out of 150 marks to be eligible to pass the CTET. Any candidate failing to score minimum passing marks will not be declared qualified.
All those candidates who will attain the minimum passing marks will be entitled to the CTET Certificate. The government has increased the validity of the certificate to Lifetime. This means that the candidates have to pass the exam once in their lives.
